Lauren Lash, a junior at East Noble, played her first season of soccer this past fall.

The girls’ varsity soccer team finished with a record of 2-12-3 with Lash taking the position as the goalie.

What is remarkable about Lash is a milestone for her and East Noble Girls Soccer.

This season, Lash recorded 304 saves in the regular soccer season to become number one in the nation for saves.

“I was just happy to help my team out and glad the opportunity came up,” Lash said.

Lash said  this was possible because of her supportive teammates whom she learned a lot from.

East Noble can expect more great things to come from the soccer goalie as she is excited to play again next year.
