The varsity softball team meets after their game for a discussion of the game.

The Lady Knights won 14-1 during their varsity game against Prairie Heights on Wednesday April 13. The first four innings sophomore Taylor Peters pitched and the last inning senior Kirsten Wolf pitched then the knights automatically won with the 10 run rule.

The Knights really started scoring when they started bunting towards the beginning of the game. Senior Madi Franks hit three bunts and a double, and Abbie Peterson hit a ball out towards center field near the fence. Senior Kelli Brennan dove towards the back to the fence and caught a foul ball that was hit up in the air. Senior Brianna Glass hit two doubles.

“I feel like we really played together as a team. We played as one. We had better communication and it was one of our best games,” said sophomore Taylor Peters.
