EN Football Ends the Season

It’s been quite a year for East Noble’s Varsity football team, as they’ve conquered great teams such as Homestead and Norwell, and grown to be a skilled and not-easily defeated team, despite the younger players on the field. 13 seniors are leaving the team this year, including Ben Deyo and kicker Jared Teders, and throughout their four years each of them has gained lessons they can use for the rest of their life, while also spreading their knowledge to other players. Athletic Director Nick David described the team as “positive role models” in his recent Night Nation report, and anyone who watched the Knights on the turf could attest to how true that statement is.

East Noble had 8 wins this season, two of them being the defeat of Dekalb High School. The season ended with East Noble’s loss to Northridge High School in the second round of sectionals. But, with defeat, comes the chance to start again, and that is just what the Knights will do next year!

Great Season East Noble!
