AUGUST 21—As the game intensely started off, everyone was hustling and trying to get to the ball as soon as possible. It was a tough challenge for the girls. At 16 minutes, Emily Dashiell made the first goal of the game. Afterwards her fellow teammates gave her a compliment or a hug. And a special thanks to Alex Rider who saved 2 goals in the first part of them game.

At the start of halftime at 32 minutes, Kelsey Coburn kicked a corner kick and aimed it to Jordan Molen who almost had a close goal, but 2 of the Lakeland players huddled around her and took control of the ball. As the girls battled through all the rough falls and defending each other, the game ended at 1-0 with East Noble JV’s team taking the win!

A special recognition to: Bailee Hager, who played “Sweeper” in the second half of the game. Bailee held a tight grudge against the other team, whether if it was defending the ball from the other team, kicking the ball closer to the goal, or even just making sure the ball didn’t go behind her—she did a fantastic job!
