For their first home game of the season, the East Noble Knights triumphantly defeated the Warsaw Tigers with a score of 28-7.

With a rough start against Plymouth on Aug. 18th, the Knights were fearful for the season ahead, but they regained their rhythm this past Friday night.

Senior quarterback Andrew McCormick, junior running back Kaiden Harshberger and senior receiver Chevy Wright all led EN to victory that night.

Within the first quarter and most of the second quarter both teams were tied 0:0. Then at five minutes left of the second quarter, the Knights held a timeout. Quarterback McCormick then miraculously made a touchdown after a fortunate kick by sophomore Joe Painter.

With only 1:45 left in the second quarter, Warsaw scored after a successful kick, leaving the score as 7:7. With 37 seconds left in the quarter, EN scored again, putting them in the lead.

During the third quarter the Knights score again, and once more in the fourth quarter, ending the night with a win for the Knights, and a great start to the season.

The Knights are set to host Huntington North this Friday, Sept. 1, with kick-off starting at 7 p.m.
