Boys’ Track Season Ends

Boys’ Track has come to an end along with our year. Our boys’ track team consists of all four grades levels, from freshmen to seniors. They are one of two of our teams, the other being the girls’ team. Boys Track ended this year with the Marion Regionals at Indiana Wesleyan University last Thursday (5.28). Kaleb Cook, a shot putter, Jake Torrie, Brant Hile, Andrew McCormick, and Kyle Forker, four by hundreds, all achieved personal best records. Congrats to them. All boys’ team had a total of seventeen meets, some with both JV and V, and some with only one of the two competing that day. Jacob Engle, a sophomore and personal trainer assistant for the spring athletic teams had this to say on the Boys’ Track, “They did alright. They’re improving. They’ll might really be able to compete at sectionals next year. They’re still hitting some hurtles right now. They’ll improve.”

Congratulations to all the boys who placed at any of the meets, made new personal records, and to all the boys for a great season. Congrats, guys, and here’s to an even better year next year.
