The girls’ track team traveled to Northridge High School for a meet on Saturday, April 18th. “It was a perfect day for a track meet,” says senior track member Alyssa Claymiller, “the weather was beautiful.” But, the sun wasn’t the only thing shining bright on Saturday. Several personal records were achieved at the meet. Freshman Pahge Kline achieved a personal record in shot put of 29’9”. Senior Alyssa Claymiller also ran a lifetime personal record of 63 seconds in the 400 4×4 race. Not only were personal records gained, but some exciting achievements happened as well. All three pole vaulters (senior Camille Clark, junior Alex Rider, and junior Erica Sanford) achieved vaults of over 6 feet. Congratulations to all of the members of the girls track team on a job well done, and good luck in future meets!
