On Thursday, September 25, East Noble’s JV Volleyball team took on one of their toughest rivals: Homestead High School. The girls showed incredible endurance during the game, as some volleys lasted more than a few minutes, and they did not back down. Homestead was a skilled team, but East Noble proved to be more positive and determined in their game. Their serving was on-location, passing under control, and the setter for the team, sophomore Brittany Alwine, set-up several spot-on spikes. The score was close in all three matches, but East Noble ended up coming out on top, winning two of the three and setting Homestead in their place. Throughout every play, the girls were noticeably supportive of each other and after every point scored, the crowd cheered them on as they met in the middle. The Varsity team also took time from their warm-up to cheer on and support their teammates.

East Noble JV played at a higher level during this game, and proved they are tough enough to beat any rival. But, as most would agree, it’s always a good night when you beat Homestead.
