NHS Rake and Run

Rake and Run – NHS

On November 7th, East Noble’s National Honor Society gathered at the high school and headed out to rake houses nearby. From 9:30 to 11:30 on Saturday, a group of about 15 students, along with Mrs. Salway and Mrs. Benedict, raked several houses for community members. The average house took less than ten minutes. Raking goes a lot faster when you got a team of teens on it. The group consisted mostly of seconds years and a few first years. The community members helped out were appreciative of the group’s work; one older woman thanked the whole group. This was NHS’s first volunteering project of the school year.
