Bi-Phy-Chem Heading to State this Weekend!

Bi-Phy-Chem stands for Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. East Noble goes to a college and we compete in events against other schools around Indiana to solve technical problems and have fun. East Noble and a few other high schools competed at Purdue-Calumet about 4 weeks ago. East Noble High School was one of the schools chosen to go to the state competition this weekend at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. This is the first time in forever that East Noble has gone to State for Bi-Phy-Chem. The head coach for this club is Mr. Mark Liepe, the head science teacher at East Noble.

There are 15 people going to the competition from East Noble. Some events at the competition are Air Trajectory, Anatomy & Physiology, Bungee Drop, Cell Biology, Protein Modeling, and many more events, and they all relate to Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. The State competition is again at Indiana University in Bloomington, this Saturday. The competition will start around 8 and end at 4. Then they will do the judging and hand out the awards which will take up to an hour. Good luck Bi-Phy-Chem members on a safe trip to your competition and at your competition.
