The East Noble Drum Line kicked off their competition season this weekend at their first competition. The event took place at Carroll High school. Though the competition was delayed an hour due to unforeseen circumstances, the percussionists didn’t let that slow them down, and their performance was solid. Their show, called “Beautiful Chaos”, features a mixture of beautiful flowing music and up-beat, rock style pieces, exhibiting the fine line between beauty and chaos. “It’s a pretty cool show,” says senior bass-drummer Nathan Durham.

The drum line placed 6th at their competition at Carroll, with a score of 71.9. The next appearance these musicians have is a competition at Pendleton Heights on February 28th, and then at Warsaw on March 7th. Great job to the members and directors on putting together a great program, and good luck for the rest of the season!
