FFA Carnations Still for Sale!

Our FFA (Future Farmers of America) club is selling Carnations until Wednesday the eleventh. You can buy one for a dollar or you can buy six for five! Why should you buy a Carnation? Here’s why:

• You can get one for your boyfriend or girlfriend and say a quick “Happy Valentine’s Day!” with flowers!

• You can support a very good cause and help out one of your schools clubs!

Carnations, in flower language, typically symbolize love. (Yes, flowers have a language.) However, they can also symbolize fascination and desire. However, the color of the carnation can change the meaning of the flower. Light Red can be used to symbolize admiration whereas dark red can be used to symbolize love. White carnations can be used to symbolize purity. The history of the carnation can be traced back long into the roots of human history, and carnations have even been made the official flower of Mother’s Day!

So get your carnations, help support your school, and have fun!
