Caleb Larson, NHS President, speaks of character at the ceremony.

The Induction into The National Honor Society, a proud moment for those juniors and seniors who have given their all both in and out of school. The ceremony started with an optional prayer asking God to watch over the ceremony. Next the Pledge of Allegiance took place and Mr. Peterson said a few words of congratulations. The veteran members of The National Honor Society then talked about the five characteristics of a good member: knowledge, scholarship, service, leadership, and character. The new members made the traditional walk across the stage and received their medal and certificate of membership. Then all the members, both old and new, said the Pledge of The National Honor Society. The ceremony was closed with an optional prayer.
