Apple Festival Review

The warmest Apple Festival in the history of Kendallville… NOT! If you were at the Festival this year, you can bet your apple dumplings and chocolate covered cheesecake that you froze your behind off. With temperatures as high as 40 degrees, most people were seen in coats, gloves, hats, scarves, boots, and even a few in ski masks and snow pants were sighted. Even so, the fairgrounds were still packed with Festival-goers seeking their favorite foods and homemade goods.

Some people complain that the Festival is repetitive – the same old thing year after year. In our opinion, it’s different every time you go. There’s different things to do, different things to see, different people to converse with. It’s a new and exciting experience each time.
