East Noble Bands and East Noble Show Choirs combined forces on December 12th to perform East Noble’s annual winter concert.

East Noble’s large mixed group, A New Vision, performed “Pie Jesu,” and two of their competition pieces: “Written in the Stars” and “The Great Comet of 1812.” East Noble’s all girls group, Premiere Edition, performed “Silent Night” and their competition ballad, “Natural Woman.” East Noble’s small mixed group, Knight Rhythms, performed “Some Children See Him” and their competition ballad, “Home.”

East Noble’s bands have been learning Christmas pieces since October, and after hearing them perform I could tell they put a great deal of time into making each song their own. East Noble’s intermediate band performed first, followed by East Noble’s advanced band. However, the advanced band did something untraditional. At the beginning of a song, they sang! I soon learned that this was done to help them learn better pitch.

Lastly, I would like to thank the community for supporting East Noble’s music departments!
