The Season is in Full Swing

If you didn’t know already, East Noble has three show choirs. Premiere Edition is an all-girls choir with 48 members. This year the theme of their show is “Life is a Fairytale”. Songs in the show are “Waiting for Life to Begin” with a solo by Payton Pfeiffer, who has won Outstanding Female Solo at Southern Wells Invitational. Next is “Impossible” with solo by Julia Widener, “Once Upon a Time” soloist Alyssa Larowe and McKinley Bolen, “Call Me A Princess” with soloist Alexis Goldey, and the last song is “Life is a Fairytale” with soloist Camille Clark, Rebecca Payne, Chloee Kline, Lynsee Devers, and Alizabeth Goldey.

The small mixed group is Knight Rhythms with 28 members. This year their show’s theme is “Rise Above”, a sort of dark to light themed show. Their songs are “Dark Horse” with soloist Hanah Clifton, “Bang Bang” soloist Alyssa Gulick, “Rise Above” soloist Dindy Dressler, who has alos won Oustanding Female Soloist, and Nate Deetz, “Up the Ladder to the Roof” soloist Camille Clark, Kara Mason, and Lydia Tremaine, and finally “Let the Sun Shine” soloists are Jakob Speelman, Sophia Shultz, Melany Morris, and MacKenzie Willet.

The large mixed group all members of both KR and PE together called A New Vision with 76 members. This is the third year that A New Vison has been competing. The theme for this show is always based off of a musical and this year the theme is Rent. The show is medley of songs from rent like, “Rent”, “One Song Glory”, “Without You”, “La Vie Boheme”, “Seasons of Love”, and “Finale B”. Solos are Nate Deetz, Abby Vanderkaay, Kenny Woody, Lydia Tremaine, Lynsee Devers, and Sophia Shultz, who has won Outstanding Female Soloist.

So far, all three groups have competed at 4 invitationals. At the first competition at Southern Wells High School, Premiere Edition and A New Vison were both named grand champion. Knight Rhythms was named 3rd runner up. The second competition at Bellmont High School, Premiere Edition and A New Vison were named reserve grand champion. Knight Rhythms was 3rd runner up. All three choirs have also competed at Twin Lakes and Bishop Dwenger.

If you want to see the show choir in action, March 6th and 7th is our invitational. May 9th and 10th is a talent show for show choir members called Spectacular and anyone can attend both events and more info will be coming soon.
