Collage

Last Friday night, February 6th, was the annual talent show called Collage. Collage is a talent show that takes all the money they have earned that night and give it to Riley Hospital. They put many acts together and even spoke about it during the show case. It was fantastic. From E3 as the first act to “Lean On Me” performed by the entire crew as the last act, you got a wide variety of talents. Collage had great talent this year and it was worth time going. My mom and brother had come with me and they had both said that it was amazing.

Here are a few highlights from the showcase:

Starting out was E3. He rapped two songs and one of them being “Pay off.” The song on his new album. Another group was dancing to “Umbrella”. The group included Grace Minich, Katie Lane, Anna Wicker, Claire Brown, Megan Butler and Jordan Axel. Malana Pashea then did a marvelous tap dance routine to the song “Dirty Boogie”.  We also got to see an acting performance by Kayley Fulk, Alyssa Claymiller, Makayla Wolf, and Katie Lane. They called the act “Making Gravy”. Adam Albertin had come out and done an impersonation, which impressed everyone around me by how accurate it was. We had a video done by Jenna Boese, Lucas Graden, and Rachel Skumer called “Anxiety.” They also did a version of “Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day.” The group included Kayla Morse, Desiree Nichols, Julia Moore, Trish Espitie, and German exchange student Tyark Lehmkuhler.   We had a great dance routine called “Salute” danced by Jordan Axel, Megan Butler, Claire Brown, Grace Minich, Lydia Platt, Kynzie Egolf, Anna Wicker, Malana Pashea, and Saydee Hamilton. The last song of the night was called “Lean On Me” were all the cast and crew come on to the stage and sang together.   It was a fantastic night and I can’t wait till next year’s show.
