If you have made it to any of the home basketball games here at East Noble this year, chances are you have heard the pep band at work. Not only do they play modern pop music (‘Forget You’ by Cee Lo Green, ‘Starships’ by Nicki Minaj, ‘Scream and Shout’ by Will.I.Am, etc.) during time outs and in between quarters, but they also like to keep things interesting by starting cheers and chants for each play – quite loudly, I might add. There is never a dull moment when the Pep Band is around. “They all seem really fun,” says an anonymous source. “They’re so into the game.”

The pep band teams up with the cheerleaders and the student section to make for an awesome, loud, school spirit-filled atmosphere. The amount of support shown between the basketball teams, boys and girls, the pep band, and the cheerleaders is a great representation of the support system present in all activities at East Noble. As another anonymous source says, “Basketball games wouldn’t be the same without the Pep Band.”
