East Noble Spikes Up Against Carroll JV


The Knights took on the Chargers Monday, Aug. 14, and Carroll won. The JV Knights fought a hard game against the Chargers but sadly lost. It was difficult for the Knights during the first match being down 6:18 but then made a comeback with 13:23, just before loosing the first match 14:25.

The second match started off with the Chargers stealing the first point before the Knights quickly gained the second. They gained two more points before the Chargers could score one. The rest of the match the Knights stayed in the lead with a score of 12:6 until the Chargers tried to make a comeback with 16:13. An amazing play was made by Oliva Whetsel and Peyton Booth as Booth saved the ball and Whetsel hit the ball over the net. The Knights kept their lead towards the end of the match with 20:18 before ultimately the Knights won 25:22 making it a close match.

Now, by the third match, it’s anyone’s game. The first team to 15 wins the game. The Knights score the first point putting the team in a happy, confident mood. It took a little more effort but the Knights got 7:4. An excellent dive and save was made by Maddie Tremaine getting the ball across the net. From seven points to thirteen points but the Chargers won 15:13.
