The knights varsity baseball team once again scored a win as they defeated the Columbia City Eagles Tuesday night with a final score of 11-9. Their rise to this win, however, took some doing.

After the first four innings, both teams were tied at 5-5. It seemed as though it would be a hard battle to the end.

But then came that fateful fifth inning.

After rendering the Eagles scoreless in that inning, the Knights managed to score six runs, bringing the score to 11-5.

Though Columbia City tried their hardest to come back, scoring two runs in the sixth and seventh innings, they were unable to break ahead of the lead that East Noble had built up.

The Knights will roll into New Haven on Thursday to see if another victory is in store for them.
