Regionals is like Sectionals; the top three teams advance, plus the top three individuals not already on a team advance as well. Penn, Northwood, and Leo advanced as a team to the IHSAA State Championship Finals for Girl’s Golf. Individuals advancing are Mikala Mawhorter from Wawasee, Amber Nelson from Norwell, and Kinley Lingenfelter from Rochester. Good luck teams and individuals and have fun at State.

This was the last match for our 2015 East Noble Girl’s Golf season. Unfortunately we didn’t advance to State, but it was a great season for our team. The girls got their personal bests and did an outstanding job, even when they had bad weather and difficult shots out on the course. As a manager for the team, I can say they were great to hang out with and it was fun. This will also be Coach Bentz’s last year coaching the girls. The new coach is Mr. Jeremy Baker; he helped out this year with the girls and will be BOTH boy’s and girl’s golf coach for East Noble. We are glad to have you, Jeremy! Great job to all the girls who participated, and great job to the East Noble girls for your dedication and hard work out there.

Good luck to all the teams throughout Indiana who advanced to State!
