Last Saturday, on May 23, 2015, East Noble hosted the NHC Tournament held at Cobblestone. The weather was perfect, the players played well, and everything was great that day. I got the chance to go take pictures and watch the 5 East Noble varsity players play their very best. East Noble didn’t win the tournament, but tried their hardest. In first was Columbia City with a score of 298; in second was Homestead with a score of 301; third was Carroll with a score of 321; fourth was New Haven with a score of 330; in fifth was DeKalb with a score of 341; sixth was Bellmont with a score of 350; in seventh was Norwell with a score of 352; and in eighth with a score of 364 was East Noble. Great Job Columbia City on your win.

Individual scores for East Noble were: Evan Hart with a score of 92; Aaron Beard with a score of 91; Dylan Philpot with a score of 84; Ryan Desper with a score of 97; and Jesse Kitchen with a score of 100. Out of all the teams that participated at this year’s NHC tournament at Cobblestone, the lowest score individually was tied by two people. Nick Myers from Homestead and Tyler Green from Columbia City, with a score of 71. Nick Myers also made Playoffs.

Our next match is at Noble Hawk against Northrop on Wednesday May 27th. Nice work out their golfers and good luck on the rest of your season.
