Mens’ Tennis Runner-Up in EN Invite

The 2013 East Noble Tennis Invitational went off without a single hitch for the first time since the 2010 season. The Knights started off the day at #1 singles with a tough matchup for EN’s Austin Mohamedali. Austin fought hard but fell to the eventual tournament champion, Pat Holly from Bishop Dwenger. Mohamedali took more games from Holly than all other players, combined, who faced him throughout the tournament. Austin eventually finished in 5th place. EN’s Evan Hart continued his dominance from the #2 singles position as he was the tournament champion winning 36 of a possible 42 games from the tournament, great work Evan! Aaron Dills also came out firing at the #3 singles position. Aaron played patiently throughout the day on his way to a runner-up finish. The #1 doubles team of Carl Kramer and Jonathan Toles played extremely aggressively all day also earning a 2nd place finish on the day. The Knights rounded out their overall second place finish with another solid showing from the #2 doubles duo of Adam Albertin and Brennen Biggins who beat NHC rival, Dekalb, for a 3rd place finish.

1st: Bishop Dwenger: 56 (won 1 singles, 3 singles, 1 doubles, and 2 doubles, runner-up 2 singles)
2nd: East Noble: 37 (won 2 singles, runner-up 3 singles, and 1 doubles)
3rd: Bishop Luers: 25 (runner-up 2 doubles)
4th: Blackhawk Christian: 19
5th: DeKalb: 18 (runner-up 1 singles)
6th: New Haven: 10
7th: South Bend Riley: 8
8th: Blackford: 2
