Sharp Advances to State

On Thursday, the East Noble Boys’ Golf team participated in Regionals, at the Stonehenge Golf and Country Club, with 17 other teams held in Warsaw.  East Noble shot a 351, finishing 18th as a team.   Warsaw and Triton tied for first with 305, and Bishop Dwenger finished first with a score of 309.

In the individual field, Michael Sharp finished the day runner-up with a 70, behind Jon Schram of Warsaw, who shot a 69.  Sharp improved his score by one stroke from sectionals last Friday, 71. He will be competing in the IHSAA State Competition at The Legends Golf Club on June 11-12 in Franklin, IN.

Results from the other competitors for East Noble included Andrew Kretler, 93, Trevor Molen, 94, Evan Hart, 94, and Ethan Wyatt, 97.

Other golfers that are advancing to state individually include Micheal Makris of Mishawaka Marian, Will Erekson of Northridge, Carter Dornseif of Heritage and Stephen Shupert of Carroll.
