On Friday, the East Noble High School Boys’ golf team hosted their 2013 sectionals at Noble Hawk Golf Club in Kendallville.  East Noble finished with a team score of 313, in second behind Carroll by two strokes and in front of Leo by three strokes.  Needing to finish in the top three in sectionals, this is the first year that the Knights moved on to in over five years, just missing it in previous years.

In individual results, Michael Sharp claimed Sectional runner-up with a score of 72 (+1), one stroke behind Leo’s Chandler Reinking.  Other notable scores included Andrew Kretler and Ethan Wyatt at 80, Trevor Molen at 81 and Evan Hart with an 89.

East Noble’s score of 313 was the best score the team has shot this year.  East Noble will be participating in regionals on Thursday morning at Stonehenge Golf and Country club in Warsaw.
