Doctor Strange Movie Review

Doctor+Strange+Movie+Review

The world of superheroes is expanding in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with new characters appearing. Doctor Stephen Strange, the sorcerer supreme and neurosurgeon has come into the Marvel Universe at last in the new movie, Doctor Strange.

Dr. Stephen Strange’s life changes after an almost fatal car accident robs the neurosurgeon the use of his hands. When traditional medicine is futile, he looks for healing, and hope, in a mysterious enclave. Stephen quickly learns that is at the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying reality. Before long, Dr. Strange is forced to choose between his life of fortune and status or leave it in the pass to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.

Now, I had very high expectations for this film with every Marvel film I see and I was very pleased with the cast line up. Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange, Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo, Benedict Wong as Wong, Mads Mikkelsen as Kaecilius, among many more actors and actresses.

I rate the film with a 9/10 (A-) for the spectacular cinematography. Marvel paid it off by expanding Marvel even further into new dimensions. It brought a lot of potential for Doctor Strange, who will soon return in movies to come.
