Avengers: Age of Ultron Movie Review
THE AVENGERS REASSEMBLE TO KICK OFF SUMER
BLOCKBUSTERS WITH “AGE OF ULTRON”
The Avengers are back, and are facing their greatest challenge yet in
Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
With SHIELD gone, Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downy Jr.) attempts to
create a peacekeeping AI to help keep the peace. But when this AI, who calls
himself Ultron (James Spader) decides the best way to keep the peace is to
destroy all of mankind, Iron Man and the rest of the Avengers—Steve
Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Bruce
Banner/Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow (Scarlett
Johansson), and Clint Barton/Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner)—must find Ultron and
destroy him before he can wipe out mankind. Even with the aid of Pietro (Aaron
Taylor-Johnson) and Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), Nick Fury (Samuel L.
Jackson), Col. James Rhodes/War Machine (Don Cheadle), and the AI unit Vision
(Paul Bettany), can the Avengers save the world once again?
This move lived up to all of my expectations. Not only were there many
intense scenes of action and robot destruction, but there were also many scenes
of humor as well. I was hooked on the movie right from the beginning, and the
new characters that they introduced into the movie were interesting as well. The
mid-credit scene really set the stage for Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe
also.
With its amazing special effects and epic battle sequences, Avengers: Age
of Ultron was a great opening to Summer Blockbusters.
I give this movie an 8.5/10, or 4 ¼ stars.
