On Thursday, June 15, the American Red Cross will have hosting a blood drive at East Noble High School from 1:00 to 7:00 PM. Donors are encouraged to sign up for a time slot rather that show up as walk in.

If a donor registers, they are guaranteed to donate, a walk in only gets through if a registered donor doesn’t show up or if there is a slow period. You can sign up for a time online, on their app, or by calling. The sponsor code is “enhs.”

All donors get a ticket to a Cedar Fair’s theme park of their choice while supplies last. You don’t even have to successfully give blood to be given a ticket; should you fail to mini physical, you can still get a ticket for coming in and attempting to donate. I recommend to register for an early time slot. Encourage your friends and family to donate.

A ticket to Cedar Point costs $67 this season when purchased at the park and $45 when purchased online. This is a great way to have some affordable summer fun as well as help out the Red Cross. During the summer it’s particularly hard on the Red Cross to get the number of donors they need to keep up with the summer trauma season. All time slots for the drive at still open as of May 14.
