Synopsis:

The story is led by a musical-loving (and hilariously eccentric) narrator. While reminiscing in his apartment one lazy day, he decides to enjoy one of his records (yes, he still has records), the original cast recording of his favorite musical: The Drowsy Chaperone.

The Drowsy Chaperone tells the story of starlet Janet Vandergraff and her impending wedding during the roaring ‘20s. Unfortunately, not everyone is ready to hear wedding bells ring. Janet’s manager will do whatever he can to stop the wedding, and Janet is forced to turn to her chaperone for advice.
