Breakfast with Santa

Christmas is just around the corner and Mr. Munk’s Theatre Arts classes are busy at work putting together the traditional Breakfast with Santa pancake breakfast; an event that has been hosted by the theatre classes for the past thirty years.

When asked about why East Noble Theatre does the breakfast with Santa event every year, Mr. Munk says, “I just wanted to add another event for children in the community and another organization in town was doing Breakfast with Santa, but they decided they weren’t going to do it anymore. So, I picked up the project.”

The event entails a pancake and sausage breakfast for the children, served by costumed characters. Then Santa arrives and the children can have their pictures taken with him. After that, there is a short stage show for the kids, lasting about fifteen minutes, and each Breakfast with Santa event ends with a Nativity Scene.

The event has typically been a big success, always with a large turnout. “We’re expecting between five hundred and six hundred kids,” says Munk.

This year’s event will be held on Saturday, December 14 at 8:30 and 10:30 in the morning. The cost is only eight dollars per person. This will be the perfect event to get the little ones even more excited for Christmas.
