The East Noble Spell Bowl team went to Kouts High School Monday night and spelled 56 of 90 words correctly, with only eight spellers! It was a long trip out to Kouts, IN, but well worth it. The team did well for being at a two speller disadvantage, and their coach was extremely proud. The first three spellers, Phillip Phan, Brian Tew, and Meghann McCoy, each spelled five words correctly. Emily Savage spelled six words correctly, and Josh Tew spelled seven correctly. There were three spell bowl members, Rachel Smolinske, Myra Finton, and Alyssa Yoquelet, who spelled all nine words correctly at Kouts. Missing from the competition were Gavin Herron, and Kaelyn Bender. Congratulations Spell Bowl Team!
