Miss Mazzola

And we’re back! After several weeks, I am pleased to announce that this week’s EN Staff Star is none other than the Knightly Scroll’s own Ms. Brittany Mazzola:

How many years have you been teaching at East Noble?

  • 4 years at East Noble, 9 total

What subjects do you teach?

  • Journalism (Yearbook and Intro to Pub) and English 9

What is your favorite class to teach?

  • Yearbook

What’s your favorite part of teaching?

  • I love helping the kids put together the yearbook so we can create something that lives on forever.

Do you have a favorite EN Memory? If so, what is it?

  • I have so many good ones! (I actually went to East Noble, class of 2006, so there are tons of great times from them.)
  • As a teacher, one of my favorite memories is when my student council president last year came down to my room to tell me he had won the Lilly Scholarship. I literally cried with joy for him.

Do you have any interests/hobbies outside of school?

  • I do yoga a few times a week and I love to read.

Do you have a fun fact about yourself?

  • I’m a twin, which most people know. Some of the freshmen class had her as a second grade teacher, so that’s really fun!

Is there anything else you’d like to add?

  • I’d like to thank whoever nominated me. It feels so good to be recognized by the kiddos. This job is not easy. Be nice to your teachers!

Congratulations to Ms. Mazzola, it is clear that everyone here at East Noble appreciates all that you do. We love you Ms. Mazzola!
