With the start of the Knightly Scroll’s weekly EN Stellar Seniors, Sydney Willey was chosen to launch this new weekly spotlight. Here is some information on one of our East Noble’s Stellar Seniors:

What is your favorite EN memory?

My favorite memory at EN has to be going 20-1 during my JV Softball season, my freshman year!

Who is your favorite teacher?

My favorite teacher has to be Mrs. Mazur. She always looks out for her students and finds a way to help any way that she can. She made geometry and pre-calculus super fun, and I always loved being a part of her class! She is one of my trusted adults, and I know I can go to her about anything!

What is your favorite class?

My favorite class had to be French with Miss Yuska. We participated in a lot of interesting projects, games, and assignments. She really made it fun! It’s so cool to be able to learn about a different culture!

Do you have a nickname?

I go by a lot of different nicknames: Syd, Semi, Willie, Willey, Syd the Sloth, Syd the Science Kid, the list seems to never end!

Do you have any interests or hobbies outside of school?

I play softball and help coach younger girls to make them better!

Do you have a fun fact about yourself?

A fun fact about myself is that I am a sister to the best twin 12-year-old brothers ever!

Do you have any advice for the younger grades?

The best advice I can give younger students is to enjoy high school while it lasts. I know it sounds like a cliché, but it is so true. These four years go by so fast, and it’ll be over in a blink of an eye. Please go to the school dances, go to the sporting events, and go get involved. It will make these four years unforgettable, and you will thank me later.
