The Knightly Scroll’s first writing contest is officially over! The staff would like to thank everyone who participated. We had 11 contestants and 277 votes for the six final stories—a simply tremendous turnout.

Make sure to keep an eye out for future writing contests. We have plenty in store for our readers in 2016!

Anyway, here are the results. Story 6 nabbed 48% of the votes and finished in first place. It was written by Stephanie Dressler. Click here and check it out! It involves pirates—what’s not to love about that?

Story 3, which was written by Kanan Flynn, came in a close second with 43% of the popular vote. There was a tie for third place. Story 5, which was written by Ashley Moore, and Story 2, which was written by Aika Uriyo, each received 4% of the votes.

If you haven’t read any of the stories, don’t worry. It’s not too late to check them out. Just visit our “Contest” page. It’s on the blue bar beneath the banner at the top of this page.

Once again, we’d like to thank the 11 individuals who took the time to write a short story for our contest, and we hope you’ll participate in our next one!
