The Interact Club is organizing an event to raise money for victims of human trafficking in a program called “Destiny Rescue.” Human trafficking is a horrendous and heinous crime in which people abduct others so that they can sexually exploit them and force them to do hard labor. Groups like the United Way and Destiny Rescue are taking action to save these (mostly young) people. East Noble’s Interact Club would like to help the cause as well.

How can you help?

• Give Donations—Please send to East Noble High School with “Destiny Rescue” in the memo line.

• This Friday, December 11, the girls’ basketball team has a home game against the Belmont Braves, and during the first quarter everyone will be welcomed to stand up (literally) for the cause. This will serve as a symbolic reminder of those who are held against their will. There will be opportunities during the game to donate to the cause at a table in the lobby, where more information about the cause will be readily available.

All the donations will provide shelter and rehabilitation for those saved from human trafficking. Spread the word about this worthy East Noble High School cause!
