Bluffton Street Fair 2014

We’ve worked all summer and into the beginning of the school year for our first competition of the year. Bluffton holds a show choir competition every year during their week long fair. This year Garrett, Northrop, Southside, DeKalb, and East Noble competed with Bluffton and Norwell performed in exhibition as the host. This season, A New Vision (a combination of both the all-girl group, Premiere Edition, and the mixed group, Knight Rhythms) is performing a show based on the rock-opera Rent. You only have 15 minutes, compared to 25 at normal competitions beginning in January, to perform and get your message across. We sang a Rent medley containing the songs, Rent, One Song Glory, Without You, Will I, Finale B, and No Day But Today. We were the last school to perform and anxiously waited for results. The street fair competition only places the top three. Southside was named thirst place, DeKalb second, and Northrop first. Our next competition is not until January, at Southern Wells High School. So until then, all three East Noble choirs will be perfecting their shows.
