On Thursday, September 19, the Beautification Project was launched to Kendallville’s prominent members. In room 612 at East Noble High School, Mr. Peterson along with representatives from various clubs, introduced the new Beautification Project website  and went through the phases and aspects of the project. The goal was to get the word out to individuals who could help to publicize the plan and draw in sponsors.

The representatives from various clubs introduced themselves and what they plan to do to support the project. Of the Clubs were DECA, Interact, Cheerleading, Student Council, and the Knightly Scroll. DECA did most of the explaining and introduced the ability to purchase different sizes of bricks to inscribe, that will eventually be a part of the walkway inside of the plaza. This was the first step in making the Project known to the entirety of Kendallville and surrounding areas, so when the time comes, the plaza can be transformed without hesitation.
