Tiny Little Musical Update

Tiny Little Musical Update

Okay, the title is misleading. That is something I will always strive for; to make a misleading title just to confuse any readers I may or may not have. Anyhow, that is not related to the subject at hand. That subject, my subjects, is based on my progress (musically) since my last post at the end of the previous school year. Some boring topics may start this article, but they will pass to announce the good stuff.

First and foremost is the lack of update. I wrote and attempted to communicate an update before the end of the previous school year, announcing the progress on Laughter and giving a demonstration of what the album may have ties to (a sound demo of a single track, in other words). However, this plan failed, and I instead did not pursue it further at the time, which eventually led to this article near the end of my last summer break. However, with that out of the way, let’s get down to business.

On the business side lies Laughter’s lost update that is now irrelevant. Laughter is now complete, and will be released with a free download on Google Drive (don’t worry about the link just yet). Additionally, Laughter will have a full post describing details of each track when it is announced (that article is already finished too…).

Furthermore, an older project of mine that was on hold until Laughter was finished has been completed. This project, entitled “CORE,” is a tribal-themed album type thing with eight tracks and about twenty-two minutes of run time. It is available with my other free albums on Drive, even though it is also available for purchase on another site not to be linked here.

If this wasn’t enough news for one day, I have finished the main updates on my site that will hopefully be used more frequently during the school year than it was over summer, for those of you who may want to look into smaller updates on my various projects and be able to comment on them. These updates are to be kept short and to the point, while my articles on the Scroll of Knights will be much longer and more in depth, but much less common. Finally, as an added bonus for looking at my site, you may get first looks at some pieces of music in progress, or get access to surveys or polls to manipulate future projects of mine (more the order they are released in than what they are).

To end with a bang before the “check out my new stuff” links, I will officially announce that I am working on another project already, which is to be released after Laughter. This project, to be entitled “Overgrown” takes a step back from the complexities of Laughter, End of an Age, A: 18 – Rebirth, and [ENTRY_REMOVED] (all previous works of mine. Two of which that have not yet been released). Overgrown focuses mostly on the simple eloquence of the Piano, accompanied often by solo stringed instruments such as a Violin, Cello, or even woodwinds such as Flutes. Even Choir made the list at times. Overgrown, while not dark, intimidating, depressing, or intense, will have an appeal to those of you that enjoy simpler pieces of music that are more lighthearted and cheerful than my other works. It may even be sad at times, but not to the point of From Ashes (a very, very old set of depressing tracks no longer available).

All right, that’s about all I have to say here. Well, aside from a link to Drive, a link to my site, another SoundCloud link, and yet another YouTube link. Until next we meet, keep your rash actions to a minimum and find pleasure in your future endeavors.
