KAR Tornado Tuesday

So last night, I got a call from Henry.  He and Nichole are both in California visiting my sister and her family, so I’m always anxious to hear from them.  Life in general excites Henry, but last night he was on a different plane of hyperness and excitement.  He was so excited he could barely get the words out: “Daddy, when I grow up I’m going to live in a jail!”

 

They took a tour of Alcatraz yesterday, and to say that Henry was impressed would be putting it mildly.  He is now obsessed with jails and wants to live in one.  Well, we all have to have dreams.  If he dedicates his life to crime, at least I can pinpoint where it all began…

 

Tornados are scary things.  All the good thoughts and karma I can muster I’m sending Oklahoma’s way.  Every so often nature steps in and reminds us just how vulnerable we are…
