Assistant Principal Andy Deming hands award to an honored student

On Tuesday May 21, East Noble Middle School gathered to award their students with many different awards. Between the 7th and 8th grade body, there were a total of 329 students honored for clubs and athletics, academics, perfect attendance, top scholars, and top athletes. When students receive awards, it makes them feel honored and accomplished. It is awesome knowing that 329 students can feel this way!

The top athletes for 7th grade are Corie Jones and Isaac Brown. For 8th grade, the top female athlete is Lanie Allen and the top male athlete is Xavier VanAllen. Academics are broken down into GPA and Kiwanis Achievement Awards. For 7th grade the top students according to GPA are Shelby Taggart and Matthew Demchak (tied for 2nd), and Madelyn Fortman and Danielle Lewis (tied for highest). For 8th grade the second highest GPA is a tie between Karissa McLaughlin and Myah Rome, and the highest GPA for 8th grade is tied between Hannah Eickhoff and Kaitlyn Weber. Kiwanas Achievement Awards were given in the following subjects: Band, General Music, Choir, Science, PreAP Language Arts, Language Arts, Art, Algebra, Math 7, PreAlgebra, Social Studies, Business Math, Health, and Physical Education.

From the beginning of elementary, students are always told that having perfect attendance is important in school. The following students have listened to their parents and teachers and have obtained astonishing perfect attendance. From the first day of kindergarten, Sierra Goodman has never missed a day to school. Since 2nd grade Brody Benson has never missed a day in school. Brian Snow hasn’t missed a day of school since 5th grade.  Starting in 6th grade Anthony Phan and Jessica Vandiver have been at school every day. For all of middle school Emily Engle, Cassidy Fisher, Amber Maxwell, Jesus Munos, Christopher Neuhaus, Jakob Speelman, and Taylor Swihart have been at school every day.

Way to go East Noble Middle School!
