East Noble JV Defeats South Side High School
Thursday October 13th the East Noble JV Lady Knights played off the South Side Archers and won the first two games winning the overall match. The Knights start off strong receiving the first point right starting off the game. The knights successly kept a 9 point lead before the archers gained their first point.
The starting lineup for East Noble was Lexy Rhoades, Payton Booth, Shay Swager, Dani Foster, Olivia Whetsel, and Sara Weber. The archers got their second point after the knights scored 23 points. After a short played game the knights won 25:2.
The second game line was almost the same except Miranda Arnold was substituted Swager. The scored the first point but the archers came back and tied after three points. There was a constant battle of tying between the teams before the knights could gain a two point lead with 8:6. East Noble took a brief timeout then got back on the court and gained a greater lead. Although the knights were in the lead the tense was still high as the archers still fought hard to try to win. The final score was 25:17 knights.
